NEW YORK CITY (WHDH) — Two men are facing murder charges after a gruesome discovery.
Police found the body of 26-year-old Connecticut man, stabbed to death and stuffed in a suitcase, buried in a shallow grave in New Jersey.
Friday, they arrested two men in connection to the murder.
Police believe the men were at a party with the victim in New York, about 60 miles from where they found his body.
The victim’s friends are in shock.
“You don’t expect this to happen to anyone you know or any friend,” said former teammate Spencer Davidson, “especially a guy like him.”
An autopsy showed there was also an effort to burn the body with gasoline.
