Two of the 11 co-defendants accused of blocking traffic during a 2015 protest on I-93 in Milton pleaded guilty on Friday.

The protest blocked traffic, including ambulances transporting patients on the highway in January 2015.

Nelli Routsalainen, 26 of Finland formerly of Roxbury, and Jeremy Bingham, 24 of W. Virginia formerly of Arlington, pleaded guilty to willful obstruction of an emergency vehicle.

The willful obstruction charge reflected ambulances transporting patients in need of emergency medical care that were blocked or diverted because of the road blockade.

Routsalainen and Bingham were sentenced to six months probation with 60 hours of community service at a non-profit to be approved by the Quincy District Court probation department.
