STATE COLLEGE, PENNSYLVANIA (AP) — Police pepper sprayed Penn State students when celebrations got out of hand.

Thousands of students and fans rallied in State College after the Nittany Lions beat the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday.

Upsetting the number two team in college football.

Penn State police used pepper spray when the crowd turned unruly pulling down at least one street sign and upending a pole.

Officials also took to Twitter to tell folks to leave the area.

There is no word on any arrests.
