Ups and Downs Ahead

So we had plenty of clouds in the mix this afternoon, but not a lot of rain as dry air tended to counter the instability of the atmosphere.  With that said, it was a bit of a cooler day, especially at the coastline as onshore breezes took over.

Clouds melt away this evening and lows tumble overnight to the lower 50s in the city to near 40 in the cooler suburbs.

Skies once again start off blue Monday, but it won’t take long for instability clouds to develop and even a few scattered showers for the afternoon.  Rain chance runs around 30% with highs in the mid to upper 60s.  Tuesday looks similar.

Wednesday, we near 70, and much of the day is dry before showers approach us from the west late in the day. Those showers foreshadow unsettled and cool weather for Thursday and Friday.  In fact, with batches of rain, and an onshore wind, we’ll hold in the 50s both days.

Saturday is transition day as showers become more hit or miss and temps warm into the 60s.  On the other side of transition day, is Sunday, which features sunshine and 70s.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
