BOSTON (WHDH) - Transit Police are sharing surveillance footage of a woman who allegedly threw scalding hot tea at a Dunkin Donuts employee in Dudley Station because she was upset with her service.

The worker is said to have suffered serious burns to the torso area.

The incident happened on Nov. 14 around 3 p.m. and was captured on surveillance video that police have shared with the public.

Officials with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority are treating the act as an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. They ask anyone who recognizes the woman to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050, or anonymously text a tip to 873873 or the SeeSay app.
