BOSTON (WHDH) - Apple unveiled the company’s anticipated wireless earbuds this week.
In the middle of the busiest shopping season of the year, Apple made the new “airpods” available to buy online.
The headphones appear similar to the white earbuds that have come with past phones, minus the significant fact that there is no wire to plug into an iPhone or iPod.
Unlike most headphones, the wireless earbuds must be charged for use.
Customers can buy the headphones on the company’s website for $159, or wait one week until the new product is available in Apple stores.
