OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City firefighters are on the scene where several bees escaped and stung people in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Battalion Chief Benny Fulkerson says the incident began about 10:30 a.m., when a person selling bee hives met a buyer in the parking lot and the bees escaped.

Fulkerson says at least two adults were taken to a hospital after being stung. Their conditions were not released.

Fulkerson says a firefighter was also stung, but did not require medical attention.

He says the parking lot is closed until the bees are removed from the area.
