At least four people were killed and dozens injured after a bus crash in North Carolina over the weekend.

According to police, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 74.

A tire blew, causing the bus to travel into the median and strike a metal guard rail under and overpass.

Police said 42 people were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries.

The charter bus was traveling from Rock Hill, South Carolina, to Fayetteville when the crash happened.

The bus was carrying students and coaches from Ramah Juco Academy to play football at the University God’s Chosen.
