MCKEESPORT, PA (WHDH) — A 7-year-old girl discovered her parents’ dead bodies in their home in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on Monday.
According to police, Christopher Dilly, 26 and Jessica Lally, 25, died from suspected drug overdoses.
Courtney Lally said her niece discovered the bodies, went to school and then told someone something was wrong with her parents.
Lally said she tried to get help for the children months ago and even sent the police photos of the filth the family had been living in at a previous home.
She said her sister became furious and moved the family to McKeesport.
Three other children, ages 9 months, 3 and 5, were also living in the home and were taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
Lally said she and her mother will be at a hearing Wednesday to get temporary custody of the children.
