BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The police chief of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, says a weekend burglary at a pawn shop led to the arrests of three suspects accused of stealing several handguns.

Chief Carl Dabadie says one suspect told police the theft was carried out “to harm police officers.”

Police are now urging a fourth suspect to turn himself in.
