Samsung is trying to prevent fire prone Galaxy Note 7 phones from getting onto airplanes.
Travelers were able to bring the Note 7 to tables, like the one shown at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, and exchange it for another phone or get a refund.
The U.S. Department of transportation and FAA have banned all Note 7 devices in carry-on and checked baggage on flights.
The TSA was also on the lookout for the phones.
Airport officials said only a handful of phones have been turned in, but travelers said they’re glad the phones aren’t getting on board flights.
