FRAMINGHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - A woman was struck crossing route 9 in FraminghamFriday night.
The driver, Charles Joyce, said he didn’t even see the woman and said that the woman was not using the crosswalk.
The woman was thrown about 15 feet.
Joyce expected the worst saying he thought he had killed her.
The woman was rushed to UMass Worcester with serious injuries.
She is expected to survive.
This is the second crash this year near the intersection of Prospect Street.
No charges are expected against the driver.
