UPTON, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have recovered a 48-year-old woman's body from an Upton pond.
The Worcester district attorney's office says the body of Sheryl Mayo was pulled from Pratt Pond at about 5 p.m. Monday.
Mayo lived near the pond.
Her death remains under investigation and the medical examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
