YARMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) - Yarmouth Police caught a wanted felon with 9 arrest warrants after a he was driving under the speed limit.

On Friday night Yarmouth Police saw a vehicle on Route 132 in Barnstable driving far below the speed limit and drifting all over the road.

The officers pulled the vehicle over.

The front passenger said he did not speak English and changed his name three times when asked for it by officers.

Barnstable Police arrived on the scene as well and noticed the tattoo on the left side of his neck.

The officers recognized the tattoo and identified the suspect as 35-year-old Edgardo Ortiz who was wanted for several outstanding arrest warrants.

Ortiz eventually admitted his true identity and was placed under arrest.

He was taken to Yarmouth Police Department and is being held without bail at the Barnstable County Jail in Bourne.

He will be transported to the Barnstable District Court on Monday, December 19, 2016.
