Police in Yarmouth have made an arrest following a bomb threat at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School on Thursday.

Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile Thursday morning after working closely with school resource officers and school administrators.

Officials identified the suspect accused of placing a note to indicate a bomb threat that was found by a student Wednesday morning at the high school.

Officials investigated the threat and eventually dismissed all students by 1:30 p.m. All after-school activities were postponed as well.

Because the student is a juvenile, officials will not release his name. He will be arraigned in Barnstable District Court.
