WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WHDH) — A police officer in Connecticut witnessed a two-car crash directly in front of his cruiser and officers said one of the cars involved in the crash had been stolen.

Surveillance video from the cruiser shows a car making a left turn into a shopping center in Wetherfield when a white car goes through the intersection, colliding with the first car. The people in the white car then fled the scene. Police said the white car had been stolen and the three teenagers inside have not been caught.

A family of three was in the car that was struck. All three of them were injured and taken to the hospital.

Police posted the surveillance video to their Facebook page, hoping the public can help them identify the suspects.
