SCITUATE, R.I. (WHDH) — Hundreds attended a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at a Rhode Island park that was recently targeted by vandals.
Families helped decorate the tree at Hope Village Green Park in Scituate.
Vandals damaged the park’s gazebo two weeks ago and the park said repairs will cost around $1,000. A fundraiser was held at the tree lighting to raise money for the repairs.
