The Boston Red Sox announced that Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman and actor/producer Jake Gyllenhaal will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game Monday at Fenway Park.

Gyllenhaal is playing Bauman in the upcoming film "Stronger."

The movie is based on Bauman’s book that recounts his personal journey after the attack on April 15th, 2013. Bauman’s story captured the world’s attention after a photo was taken of him being wheeled away from the bombing scene by Carlos Arredondo in the moments after the attack.

The Patriot’s Day game will be played at 11:05 a.m. Monday.

Along with the ceremonial first pitch, the Sox will drape the American flag over the Green Monster for the National Anthem, which will be performed by a U.S. Marine Corp Band from Quantico, Virginia.
