BOSTON (WHDH) - Jackie Bradley Junior continued his torrid hitting streak Sunday.

Bradley hit in his 27th straight game, with a single in the 5th.

This is the 9th time in Red Sox history that a hitting streak has reached 27+ games.

The last time a Sox player hit in 27+ games was in 2013 when David Ortiz’s hitting streak from the previous season ended on May 7, 2013.

Bradley’s streak is the longest in the majors since Nolan Arenado hit in 28 straight games from April 9 2014-to May 8, 2014.

Bradley is hitting .408 during the streak with 8 home runs during that span.
