Bruins deliver toys to hospitals in annual holiday visit

BOSTON (WHDH) - Members of the Boston Bruins participated in their annual holiday toy delivery Monday, visiting children who will be spending their holidays in the hospital.

Hundreds of toys were donated by the team and the Boston Bruins Foundation. The players themselves bought the toys at Target.

Bruins players Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and Tuukka Rask wore their jerseys festive hats and spent Monday afternoon spreading holiday cheer. The annual event was started by Bruins legend Ray Bourque when he was the team’s captain.
