BRIGHTON, Mass. (WHDH) — The Boston Celtics officials broke ground on Monday on their new practice facility in Boston.
The facility will be part of the New Balance Headquarters and will be named the Auerbach Center, in honor of legendary Celtics coach Red Auerbach. The Auerbach Center will feature the latest in sports science technology and the famous parquet floor.
The Auerbach Center at Boston Landing is expected to open next spring.
