Kelly Olynyk will represent the Boston Celtics at the NBA’s Rising Star Challenge during the All-Star break.

The game has a new selection process in place to help revitalize the spectacle. Instead of just the top rookies and sophomores being picked, it will now become a battle between the young stars from the U.S. and other countries. Only ten players are chosen for each side.

Olynyk, born in Canada will be on the international team lead by fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins.

Marcus Smart, also a player on the Celtics, just missed the cut to be a part of the United States roster.

The annual event is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13 in Brooklyn.
