Move over Gronk – there’s a new star in town. Julian Edelman was on fire Wednesday during the Patriots’ Super Bowl victory parade.

“I’m just enjoying the experience, I mean, these people came out, and they supported us. You play the game for your friends and family, and for your region that you play in, and we have some of the best fans in the world,” Edelman said.

He started off wearing a police jacket and thanking fans while he sat on the duck boat.

“It was unbelievable, you get to share the experience with all these people. Seeing all the cops, the fire fighters, they were all helping us, seeing those people, the first responders of the Boston bombing and all that, all these people taking care of us, it’s unbelievable,” he said.

But soon, he was ripping off his sweater and by the end he was proudly waving the Patriots flag.

“I’m tired. I had a couple of waters and ah, best time of my life,” he said. “It’s great to be here in Foxborough, in Boston. This is home.”
