FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - An Attleboro man is camping outside of Gillette Stadium, hoping that his dream of trying out for the Patriots will come true.

Abiola Aborishade, 23, is a former wide receiver for UMass Dartmouth. Every day, for nearly a month, Aborishade stations himself at Gillette before coaches arrived in the morning. He then goes to his job at Enterprise Rent-a-Car and come back in the afternoon to try and catch the coaches again as they leave for the day.

“I wouldn’t be out here if I didn’t think I could play at this level,” said Aborishade.

Aborishade said Patriots players Malcolm Butler and Rob Ninkovich have stopped by to encourage him but he has not gotten any acknowledgement from coaches yet.

The Patriots said they have no official comment on the situation.
