USA Today is reporting that Red Sox Chairman Tom Werner is being considered for a new job.
The newspaper says Werner is one of three finalists to replace current MLB Commissioner Bud Selig.
Two other MLB executives from the league office are also in the running.
The league will reportedly vote on Selig’s successor on Aug. 14.
