Friday’s incredible performance in the women’s slalom gold medal final by 18-year-old Mikaela Shiffrin has everyone talking, much to the delight of family back in New England.
Shiffrin became the youngest Olympian to win slalom.
Her grandparents, aunts and uncle watched her historic run from Pittsfield.
