FOXBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sent a special message to a fan.

He reached out to the man, who has a rare spinal condition.

Justin Miller suffers from spinal muscular atrophy.

His sister wrote a blog about him for the Huffington Post, saying her brother wanted to meet Brady.

Brady apparently saw the blog and recorded a message for Justin.

In it, he said, “I know you’re a big Patriots fan but after learning about your story, I’m an even bigger fan of you and all that you’ve overcome. So I’ll be rooting for you this
season and hope the Patriots can give you and your family some great memories and plenty to celebrate all year long. So we’ll be wishing you the very best.”

In a response posted on Facebook Monday, Miller’s sister wrote the family is “completely floored by Tom’s heartfelt message to our family.”
