BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston ranked fourth for the most expensive cities in the United States.
The city costs about $1,800 for a three-day summer holiday, according to Trip Advisor.
The booking site published the annual cost-comparison study by TripIndex Cities. The independent company is located in Needham, and bases the analysis on a two-person getaway.
Transportation, including Uber, food, hotels, and tours are all considered for the rankings.
Boston held the third most expensive spot for hotel accommodations with a projected $409 per night, as well as the third most expensive Uber ride.
Orlando is the most expensive US getaway followed by Honolulu and Seattle.
New Orleans rang in as the least expensive summer destination in the United States with an all around cost of $1,148.
