Our streak of clear and cool starts with low humidity to each morning is over. We’re changing it up a bit today, introducing some mild and muggy air to kick off this Tuesday as well as a few showers.  Most showers run through here early to mid morning with not much leftover after 10am other than a stray shower. That means more hours are dry than wet with clouds and breaks of sun as temps run into the lower 80s with some humidity in the air. While we could use all the rain that we get, most towns that pick up on some morning rain pick up under 0.25″, so while appreciated, it’s hardly much help.

We’ll renew the chance for showers and cracks of thunder overnight tonight with the most widespread chance from midnight-6am.  As the atmosphere does have quite a bit of moisture with it, a few of the overnight showers and storms will be capable of localized downpours. Like typical summer time storms, they’ll be the hit or miss type downpours, so not every lawn gets a good soaking.

A couple isolated showers/storms linger tomorrow, but more dry hours than wet are expected again.

After tomorrow… we’re mostly on easy street again.

While I can’t rule out a touch of humidity and an isolated storm Friday evening/Saturday, much of the time from Thursday to Monday features relatively low humidity, a decent deal of sunshine and temperatures that run in the 80s.  Sound good? I think overall, many outdoor plans work out just fine heading into the Fourth.
