The stormiest part of the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend is behind us! Yahoooooo! Today’s storm, which brought many towns close to an inch of rain, is peeling out of here as I type and dry air is taking over. This dry air is with us for the remainder of the Holiday Weekend which is nice for travel plans

as well as outdoor activities. Even better is the fact the most of the nation is storm-free for much of the upcoming Holiday Weekend! If tomorrow is your day to travel here is what the national map should look like:

A few showers in Florida as well as the Pacific northwest but the major hubs…Dallas, Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, LA…all void of storminess! The only issue around these parts the next few days will be the up & down temps from day to day. Tomorrow–Turkey Day–is a chilly day:

Layer up for those Turkey Trot 5k races as well as the High School football games. Even by afternoon and with ample sunshine, temps only reach the low to mid 40s. Seasonably chilly weather for Black Friday but dry for shopping. Saturday–Local Business Saturday I might add–features milder temps with many towns seeing high temps in the mid 50s by afternoon. Chilly temps are back in play by Sunday, plan on temps in the low 40s for that Patriots-Dolphins game. Windy as well.

Have a safe & happy Thanksgiving–enjoy your Turducken.
