We’re off to another chilly and windy day! Most of us are waking up to what feels like temperatures in the low-20s. Highs temperatures today will be similar to yesterday. Low pressure to our north stays camped out, which will continue to deliver strong westerly winds to Southern New England today. Our windy weather will make high temps this afternoon feel like the low-30s, so bundle up!

On the bright side, today’s winds should be more moderate, peaking at 30-35 mph gust (instead of yesterday’s 54 mph in Woods Hole). Plus we’ll see more sunshine today, with dry skies and sunshine staying with us through tomorrow.

We’ve got smooth sailing today and tomorrow for Thanksgiving travel plans, with a minor hiccup late Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning. During this time, our next frontal system approaches from the west, and we could have a light wintry mix of flurries, freezing drizzle and drizzle during Thanksgiving morning. This should be short-lived before we change over to just plain old drizzle. Any wintry mix we do see won’t do much in terms of accumulation, but it could make for a few slick spots on the roads. Patchy drizzle is possible into your Thanksgiving Day, with mostly cloudy skies.

Bundle up again today!
