Back at it tonight after some time away….Fall is in full swing now and judging by what I saw these past few days–with my own eyes and on my social media feeds, the foliage has not disappointed! I thought due to our extreme drought the colors would be dull & drab but every nook & cranny that I traveled I kept seeing more of this:

Just brilliant colors! I snapped that photo yesterday up on the Nashua River Rail Trail (my first time up there–some great views) while on a family bike ride. The trees do appear to drop their leaves perhaps faster than last year but the colors have been amazing.
We have more nice weather on tap for much of the week thanks to High Pressure:

Our only weather player this week is that cool front you see out by Chicago. That front sweeps through New England on Thursday with a fair amount of clouds but only a few showers (early Thursday morning may start with patchy drizzle). Unlike the Sunday cold front, this front won’t have any tropical moisture to tap into like that front did. Plan on less than .10″ of rain from that front.

In any event, either side of that front is sunshine tomorrow and again Friday (weekend too) with seasonable temps. Not ideal for the drought but good for outdoor enthusiasts.

Enjoy what’s left of your Taco Tuesday.
