I get it.  It may be a little while before I can gain your trust back after yesterday.  Believe me, I was disappointed myself… until I went south to Foxboro to find the sunshine!!  No kidding, I came back into Boston with a sunburn and was greeted by the persistent wall of fog!  Yesterday’s weather was completely dependent on your location/attitude:  If you were across the South Coast, it was a beach day – but if you were Boston points north, it was a visit to “foggy London-town.”  So, when I say “it will warm up today” I understand if you’re skeptical.  BUT IT WILL!  The glass is once again “half full.”  Yesterday is over, and we’re moving on…

We’re currently sitting in the mid to upper 60s, and it’s still before 7am.  That’s already 5-7 degrees above average highs for this time of year.  Partly cloudy skies are with us to start the day, but more sunshine will win out this afternoon.  A weak cold front is currently to our NW, but it won’t do much “cooling” to our temperatures.  As it passes through, it brings some clouds this morning.  There’s a slight chance of a pop sprinkle as that front passes through; which we sometimes call a “fro-pa” for “frontal passage.”  It’s fun to say.  Try it.  :c)  It is expected to be a mainly DRY fropa, but again, we can’t completely rule out a quick shower/sprinkle around 8-9am.  Temps will warm well into the 70s across the board, and even a few spots see the low 80s!  I feel like if you happened to #BlameBri for yesterday’s weather, then you should also #BlameBri for today’s weather:

Cooler temps are in the picture for Thursday, with highs in the low 60s.  Clouds move in, but I think we’ll hold off on the showers until late in the day.  Unsettled weather highlights the end of the week, and there could be a widespread 0.50″-1.00″ of rain on the way.  Certainly not a drought-buster, but we’ll take all we can get.  Some of these showers may linger for the beginning of Saturday, but the real headline for the weekend will be cooler temps and windy conditions.  The fall foliage is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous right now – soak in all of the vibrant color while you can, because the rain and wind on the way may take down many of those bright leaves.

Enjoy this taste of summer!  and sorry about yesterday.  From #TuesdayLoseday to #WednesdayWinsday – Breezy
