I could get used to this! Crisp, cool mornings that are followed by mild afternoons and sunshine all day long. Many cities & towns started the day in the 40s with Norwood leading the pack (as always) with a low of 44 but that August sunshine went to work, sending temps up around 80 this afternoon. We have more sunshine on the way the next few days but our fall preview is done as temps start another upward climb in the coming days.

In terms of summer humidity, that too will start an upward climb but it won’t match what we dealt with a few weeks ago. Friday will be a humid day–certainly compared to this morning–and that humidity will wait around for a cool front to charge through New England during the afternoon. This front will pop a few isolated showers & storms but nothing widespread or worthy of earning the washout badge. This front knocks the humidity out of New England just in time for the weekend so plan on more sunshine and warm temps.
