Brrr… it’s a bit of a chilly start this morning as frosty lawns and frosty windshields greet many. While the heavier jacket or hat may be in order this morning, the temperatures trend the next few days is up. Even this afternoon, the bounce back is nice with highs in the low to mid 50s and light breezes. Sea breezes kick in along the coast, where temps hold in the low 50s. Sun filled skies start the day with just a few more clouds to mix in this afternoon. Overall, a great day for the kids to burn off those sugar highs outside!

Winds turn south tonight as clouds increase and that means temperatures won’t be as cold overnight. Sure, it’ll be chilly early this evening, but temperatures by daybreak tomorrow are in the 40s for most. With a milder start, it’s easy to warm up into the 60s on a southwest breeze. The trade-off tomorrow will be more clouds to go along with the milder air, but overall, it’s an easy deal to make.

Mild air hangs in on Thursday, however, the rain chances also go up as a cold front closes in. A few of those showers are possible in the morning across southern New Hampshire, but the bulk of the action will drop in the afternoon in the way of showers and even a few cracks of thunder. Temps remain well into the 60s and may even nudge 70 south of the Mass Pike.

Behind the front, it turns blustery with chilly air on Friday before a relatively quiet and seasonably cool weather settles in for the weekend. Don’t forget, clocks go back 1hr this weekend, blah!
