We’re waking up to incredibly mild temperatures this morning, with temps in the low to mid-50s across much of eastern Mass. So temps this morning are largely warmer than our average highs for this time of year (47° in Boston). We’re well above average today back into the mid to upper-50s, but winds will be pretty blustery out of the SW with gusts up to 35mph. So you’ll still want a few extra layers in addition to maybe the rain gear on standby. The chance for showers today is pretty low, but you could get caught in a few sprinkles..so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have one of those mini umbrellas with you!

Temperatures plummet tonight as much cooler air behind today’s cold front works its way into New England. We’ll also see mostly clear skies tonight, with lightening winds, which will make for a chilly Thursday morning with temps in the mid to low-20s outside of metro Boston (and temps in the upper-20s in Boston).

Tomorrow features a dry and cool day, with mostly sunny skies & temps in the mid-40s. Count on a chilly and dry forecast for the Boston Common Tree Lighting!

Another frontal systems speeds along eastward at the end of this week, bring a few showers our way late Thursday night into Friday morning. We’re looking at mostly sprinkles during this time, and mostly sunny skies Friday afternoon. We keep a pretty dry and cool pattern in place into  the weekend, and the start of next week.
