Did you leave the windows open last night and now it’s a little chilly inside the house this morning? No question about it, a crisp, Fall-like feel is in the air today as a gusty breeze (gusts to 30mph), real low humidity and temps in the 60s to near 70 provides us with a late September feel to the air.  Apple picking and cider donuts anyone?  Temps tonight are back into the 40s and lower 50s.  Enjoy saving on the A/C bill this week!

If you like the low humidity, you’re going to love the 7 day forecast as we won’t have many days than push the dew points past 50 degrees. Otherwise known on our frizz factor as “on fleek” for the hair.   The exception to that is Saturday evening and Saturday night when a brief stint of muggier air arrives.

The overall forecast features a lot of dry weather as well.  In fact, over the next 7 days, the best chance for a passing shower or thunderstorm is Saturday evening and Saturday night.  A lingering showers across the Cape may start early Sunday morning, otherwise much of the time is dry. Highs Saturday run into the upper 70s and are close to that on Sunday midday, however, cooler air will work in late Sunday afternoon and evening.  Sunday afternoon is breezy too.

While the next 7-10 days are near/below average temperature-wise, there are signs of pushes of warmer air at times near/after the 20th.  In the meantime, enjoy the 70s and low humidity as we have some nice days ahead.
