Eichfeld teaches paddling instructions with the American Red Cross. Eichfeld danced for seven years to maintain balance and flexibility in his back. The 2015 Pan American Games proved to be a success for Eichfeld, he won gold in the men’s C1 and men’s C2 with teammate Devin McEwan. Casey Eichfeld started paddling in whitewater at the age of two and racing slalom at age five. His immediate family tree: Parents – Steve and Kathy Eichfeld; Sister – Erin; Brother – Devon. Eichfeld qualified for Olympic selection in the men’s canoe single during the 2016 Olympic Slalom Trials on April 9. That’s definitely worth jammin’ out to.
