After losing to the #4 ranked men’s doubles team from China yesterday 2-0, the U.S. men’s doubles team pairing of Phillip Chew and Sattawat Pongnairat fell again on Friday morning. This time it was at the hands of the Shem V Goh and Kiong Wee Tan from Malaysia. Losing 21-6 and 21-7 yesterday, the Americans were soundly beaten 21-12 and 21-10 today. They will look to get on the board with a win Saturday against Germany’s Johannes Schoettler and Michael Fuchs. The group match will be played on Court 3 in the afternoon.
