Superman is coming to Supergirl — and EW has your exclusive first look at the Man of Steel in action.
In the second season premiere of Supergirl, which will now be airing on The CW, both Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) team-up to save the day. “The two of them actually show up to the same crisis,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. “It’s not a turf war, they just both heard about the same tragedy on the news and both flew into action.”
In doing so, the supers finally get a chance to spend some QT together. “They haven’t really gotten a chance to spend time together, especially since she’s come out as Supergirl, and they both want that,” Kreisberg says. “Both of them have a bit of sadness about them — they both have that sense of feeling alone, they both have that sense of feeling different — and both of them remark that that loneliness, that alienation, that isolation goes away when they are together.”
Supergirl returns Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. See the exclusive clip here.
