The anticipated reunion between Kendra (Ciara Renée) and Carter (Falk Hentschel) will happen in the upcoming episode 15 of "DC’s Legends of Tomorrow."
The synopsis for the episode, titled "Destiny," revealed that Kendra and her destined lover Carter will cross paths once again even though he was killed by Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) back in the second episode of the season.
The reunion, however, suggests that Kendra will probably die before the get-together because as previously explained by executive producer Marc Guggenheim, Carter will only be reincarnated once Kendra also gets killed.
"It gets a little complicated because [Carter] died ‘out of time’ essentially. He didn’t die in 2016," Guggenheim explained to TVLine last January. "But the way that the reincarnation works is once they both die that’s when the clock gets reset for them, and that’s when two babies are born."
Alternatively, the reunion mentioned in the synopsis could only be between Kendra and a younger version of Carter.
Guggenheim previously said that the potential return of dead characters doesn’t necessarily mean that they will be brought back from the dead.
"The show takes place over multiple time periods, so we could kill a character off tomorrow and then jump back in time and see them again before they die," Guggenheim told EnStarz at WonderCon last month. "Death has a different meaning on this show just because the time travel element of it."
