SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Actor Ben Affleck is offering his island mansion and surrounding property on the Georgia coast for sale at an asking price of $8.9 million.
Real estate company Engel and Volkers is handling the listing. Its website describes the house on Hampton Island as “a remarkable recreation of a southern antebellum, Greek Revival Plantation home” with 25-foot (8-meter) -high Doric columns and 6,000 square feet (557 sq. meters) of living space.
Affleck’s Georgia getaway includes 87 acres (352,000 sq. meters) overlooking deep water on the North Newport River in Liberty County, outside Savannah.
In addition to the four-bedroom main house, there’s a screened-in “cottage” for entertaining and a large guest house with five bedrooms and three master suites.
