(NBC) “Saturday Night Live” welcomes a familiar face as host for its Thanksgiving episode this weekend when former cast member Kristen Wiig pays a visit.

For an SNL alum like Wiig, there’s nothing quite like coming home.

“When you’re in the cast or you’re a writer, you’re sort of on one side of the wall, and then there’s the host, who goes into rooms you don’t get to go in,” she says.

Meanwhile, after skipping last week’s episode because of a prior commitment, Alec Baldwin told Vanity Fair he will return this week to reprise his role as the now President-elect Donald Trump.
