(CNN) – Fan-favorite “The Office” may be—well—returning to the office.
NBC is reportedly discussing the possibility of bringing back the hit workplace comedy.
Variety Magazine reported Acton native Steve Carell, the original star of the show, would not be returning to the program.
Word of the potential reboot was first reported by TVLine.
There has been no comment from NBC thus far. The network had success with its revival of “Will and Grace” earlier in the year. It was one of the highest-rated shows the network had this season.
“The Office” originally ran from 2005 through 2013.
