LOS ANGELES (NBC) — The votes are in, and soon, this season’s winner will be revealed tonight on “The Voice.”
All of the artists sang their hearts out, hoping to impress America; and it appears they did.
It was the last chance for the four finalists to earn America’s vote.
“I went out there and ripped my heart out and shoved it through the microphone,” said Sundance Head, of Team Blake.
Sundance Head grabbed the first spot on the iTunes chart with his original composition, “Darlin’ Don’t Go.” His cover of the Etta James classic “At Last,” came in second.
Team Adam’s Billy Gilman was right behind in the next two spots. The song “Because of Me” was at the third spot; a tune that Maroon 5 left off of its most recent album.
“It’s great. It’s just, I can take a breath and know that I worked my butt off and there’s nothing else I could do,” said Gilman.
Gilman’s fellow Team Adam finalist, Josh Gallagher, hit the Top 15 twice, peaking at sixth with his original, “Pick Any Small Town.”
“This song means so much to me. It describes everything that I am and everything that I came from,” he said.
Two solos for Team Alicia’s We McDonald also hit the top 15.
The original song that was written for her, “Wishes,” took ninth.
“I feel like, whoever wins, deserves it. And we’re going to be proud regardless,” said McDonald.
The season will end on a true high note for one of these artists tonight.
Tune into 7NBC to catch the finale.
