DORCHESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - A double shooting in Dorchester left one man dead and another hospitalized Saturday night, police said.
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the area of 49 Withington St. about 5:10 p.m. said they found one man who sustained life-threatening injuries and a second who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Both were transported to local hospitals where one man was later pronounced dead.
A handgun was recovered at the scene.
No additional information was immediately available.
