A 15-year-old boy riding a bicycle was severely injured on Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities say the boy was hit by a car on Lawrence Street and the driver fled the scene.
The boy was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and is listed in critical condition. He is expected to survive, police said.

The truck involved in the crash has been recovered, police said.
Police are investigating the incident.
