BOSTON (WHDH) - The Department of Environmental Protection says 164 schools in Massachusetts had at least one test that came back positive for above recommended lead levels.

Since April the department has collected more than 25,000 water samples from schools across the state.

On Tuesday, the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust announced an additional $750,000 in funding to help make sure drinking water in schools is safe.
