Two men were arrested Friday afternoon in Auburn for alleged possession of heroin.

Police pulled the two men over on Route 3290 after officers were told to be on the lookout for a red pickup truck with Maine license plates. The passenger in the truck allegedly had an active warrant for robbery and trafficking narcotics in Maine.

Police said they found 25 grams of heroin in the car. Both men were arrested and charged with heroin possession. The driver was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, while the passenger was also charged as a fugitive from justice.
