Two men were arrested early Saturday morning after a large fight broke out at a Denny’s in Leominster.

Another diner caught the brawl on camera at the Denny’s on Commercial Road. People were seen throwing punches and chairs at each other as police officers arrived. Police said the department’s entire midnight shift was needed for crowd control.

After police arrived, the restaurant’s manager decided to close early due to the commotion and the officers ordered everyone to leave. One man, identified by police as Luis Rojas, allegedly spit on one of the police officers. He then allegedly resisted when police tried to handcuff him, holding back his arms and flailing around.

Another suspect, Brandon Sanchez, was taken into custody for allegedly trying to open the cruiser door and let Rojas out. Police do not believe the suspects are the ones who started the initial fight and are still looking for more suspects.
